Mr
Emmanuel Kiprotich Sigei and his wife Irene Nalomita Sigei are accused
of killing their daughter Brenda Chepkorir, from Sigeiat Nasitori Village of
Narok County on February 6, this year.
The two had been married for two years allegedly schemed to kill the girl who is from a previous relationship.
They have a son together who is six months old.
However,
the two who appeared in court while injured told Lady Judge Hellen
Omondi could not plead to the offence since they had not undergone
mental assessment.
The judge ordered that they be taken
to Rift Valley Provincial General Hospital for the test and injuries
sustained after they were beaten by villagers.
