Fun and Flirty Florals

We all know that as temperatures begin to drop, we tend to do away with color and find ourselves rocking black from head to toe. We tend to associate florals with summer or spring only, but that shouldn't be the case. Furthermore, it's always ok to bend the rules. The only thing to bear in mind is the hue. Unlike summer and spring blooms, Fall blooms are a little on the darker side.
I put together some Summer/Spring/Winter floral ideas that would definitely brighten your closets.

Floral blazers are a must-have. They add that girly touch to any outfit. The key to wearing them in style is to let the blazer be the focal point while keeping the rest understated in solid colored tones. If you love neutral tones, wear white pants, simple cream top and nude heels. Throw on the floral blazer like an afterthought for a bold fashion statement. The main thing is to keep everything else less visually busy or in monochromatic shades and in a basic clean cut so they won’t be in a competition to stand out with the blazer.
The key when wearing floral tops is to keep everything else plain. You want to pop the top, so make sure not to add any other pattern on your skirts or pants because you don't want to look "crowded".
Floral bags/clutches are considered a statement piece, for that matter, should be paired with an otherwise understated outfit. Examples would be a simple neutral dress, understated jewelry and so on.
When it comes to floral bottoms, let color and the size of the pattern guide you to the right pair. Have the pants/skirt/shorts be your outfit statement piece and keep the rest of your outfit simple i.e wear a solid top that compliments all colors in the print or is a complimentary color to the strongest color in the print. For those who like taking fashion risks, take it a step further, pair your floral bottoms with a simple stripe top or tee and see how amazing mixing prints looks. As for the shoes, keep them neutral; metallic and tan are always easy.
Floral shoes add a kick to a nude or monochrome ensemble. The rule is to keep the rest on your outfit simple and have a color from it match the florals on the shoe.

When it comes to style, floral prints add just the right touch of femininity, so just go for it!
